Cardiac and diabetes drugs drive pharma growth

India's pharma market grew about 12% in July, with cardiac, diabetes and other chronic therapies outpacing overall sales. Pharmarack's Sheetal Sapale said easier testing and greater health awareness are prompting more people to seek treatment earlier. GLP-1 drugs are also supporting demand, though she expects their growth to stabilise.
