Cardiovascular diseases remain leading cause of deaths in India, claiming nearly 31% of lives, according to The Report on Causes of Death: 2021-2023 presented by the Sample Registration Survey. Cardiovascular diseases refer to heart-related ailments which are mostly caused due to high stress levels and unhealthy lifestyles. These diseases remained leading cause of death in the 30-plus age group.
