India women's hockey team Captain Rani Rampal has called the alleged casteist remarks against India forward Vandana Katariya's family 'shameful' and urged people to 'rise above' caste, religion, region, etc. "We face a lot of struggle to represent India...we come from different parts of the country but when we play, we play for the Indian flag," said Rampal.
