After making Aadhaar mandatory for JEE-Mains, the engineering entrance exam, the government is reportedly planning to link Aadhaar with exams like CAT, NEET and NET from 2017. The CBSE Class XII board examinations may also see Aadhaar playing a role, reports added. During the exam, a biometric attendance system using fingerprint recognition will be used for identity verification, it added.
