Some senior Income Tax officials including CBDT Chairman Sushil Chandra are under the CBI lens for allegedly sharing probe details about Nirav Modi fraud with extortionists, according to reports. The officials reportedly undervalued cash transactions taken place at showrooms of Nirav's firms. The officials also never passed on these details to the CBI or Enforcement Directorate, reports added.
