CBI has arrested Mrinmoy Ghosh, an Accounts Officer at CDA Guwahati, for allegedly taking bribes from contractors to clear payments. The FIR, filed on April 3, also names businesswoman Sabita Chamaria and her employee. Evidence includes WhatsApp chats and cash transactions. The case is being investigated under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Prevention of Corruption Act.
