The CBI has arrested NHIDCL Executive Director and Regional Officer, Maisnam Riten Kumar Singh, in Guwahati while allegedly accepting a ₹10 lakh bribe for issuing a project completion certificate. Searches at his premises led to the recovery of ₹2.62 crore in cash and documents of multiple properties and luxury vehicles.
