CBI arrests Nirav Modi aide deported from UAE

CBI arrested Sandeep Bharat Mistry, a close aide of fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi, after he was deported from the UAE in the $2 billion PNB fraud case. Mistry allegedly forged trade documents, siphoned funds, and coerced dummy directors. An Interpol red notice was issued in July; he was produced before a Mumbai court and sent to judicial custody.
