The CBI arrested IPS officer and Punjab's Ropar Range DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar on Thursday after he was caught allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹8 lakh. The central agency conducted searches at various locations linked to Bhullar and recovered ₹5 crore cash (and counting), 1.5 kg jewellery, keys to two luxury vehicles (Mercedes and Audi), and 22 luxury watches.
