CBI has arrested Dr Manish Rawat, a neurosurgeon working at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital, and four others for allegedly forcing patients to buy surgical items at inflated prices. Rawat, through three middlemen, allegedly directed patients to buy items from the fifth arrested, the proprietor of a medical shop. He also asked patients to deposit ₹30,000-₹1,15,000 in bribes into a middleman's account.
