The CBI informed a Chandigarh court that it found the involvement of several Punjab officials and private individuals in a corruption case against suspended DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar and his aide Kirshanu Sharda. The agency is seeking permission for custody of materials and has seized devices and ₹21 lakh cash, Tribune reported. Meanwhile, the MHA has sanctioned prosecution against Bhullar.
