The CBI filed a chargesheet against the NSE's former CEO Chitra Ramkrishna and former Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey in the illegal phone-tapping case. The agency alleged that NSE paid ₹4.54 crore between 2009 and 2017 to ISEC Services, where Pandey was director, for conducting illegal interceptions of phones of NSE employees in the name of a cyber vulnerability study.
