CBIC removes ₹10 lakh cap to boost e-commerce courier exports

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has notified amendments to courier import/export rules and removed the ₹10 lakh per shipment value limit on courier exports. The change, effective from April, is aimed at boosting the country's e-commerce exports. The amendments also introduced a 'Return to Origin' system for faster clearance of unclaimed imports.
