US television network CBS has announced that it fired CEO Leslie Moonves for cause and has denied a $120-million (₹850 crore) severance package after an inquiry into alleged sexual misconduct. Two articles published by The New Yorker had detailed allegations against the 69-year-old from 12 different women. CBS also said that Moonves failed to cooperate fully with the company's investigation.
