CBSE floated three tenders to build and operate its OSM portal for the 2026 Class 12 Board exams, but failed to finalise a bidder twice, HT reported. It relaxed some requirements, like scanning resolution of 300+ DPI and capability maturity model certification of Level 5, in the third tender. It then selected Coempt, which is now at centre of criticism.
