The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved Aster DM Healthcare and Quality Care India's merger. The merger forms 'Aster DM Quality Care', which will be jointly controlled by Aster's promoters and Quality Care's investor Blackstone. The merged entity will have a network of 38 hospitals and four brands, which are Aster DM, CARE Hospitals, KIMSHEALTH and Evercare.
