Central Railway's freight loading increased 4.05% to 14.13 million tonnes during April-May 2026, while freight revenue rose to ₹1,442.54 crore. Passenger earnings jumped 15.36% to ₹1,357.20 crore with 25.76 crore passengers carried. Parcel revenue stood at ₹45.20 crore, supported by higher leasing of parcel vans and cargo express services.
