Centre appoints new Rajasthan HC Chief Justice amid corruption row

The Union Government on Saturday cleared the appointment of Justice Sanjay Kumar Agrawal as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court. This comes after the Supreme Court Collegium replaced the High Court's Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma over alleged misuse of power, corruption and nepotism. The allegations were made by SC Judge Sandeep Mehta to the CJI.
