The central government allocated ₹4,900 crore to Arunachal Pradesh under the 'Pride of Hills' initiative for supporting critical infrastructure in hill states. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu thanked PM Narendra Modi for the allocation on Thursday. The initiative has a total outlay of ₹25,000 crore for nine Himalayan states with Arunachal Pradesh receiving the biggest share.
