The Union Health Ministry on Monday launched a 24x7 tele-mental health service called Tele Mental Health Assistance and Networking Across States (Tele-MANAS) on the occasion of World Mental Health Day. The service will begin in 20 states and UTs and will subsequently be expanded across the country. The service can be accessed by calling helpline numbers 14416 and 1-800-891-4416.
