Centre launches JOSH Teams to boost TB awareness, early detection

Union Health Minister JP Nadda and Delhi CM Rekha Gupta launched JOSH (Joint Squad for Health) Teams to mobilise youth against tuberculosis. Initially covering 11 states, the initiative aims to boost awareness, early detection and treatment while reducing stigma. Nadda said India's TB incidence has declined by 21%, with treatment coverage reaching 92%.
