Centre launches JOSH teams with 58,000 volunteers

The Centre launched JOSH (Joint Squad for Health) Teams in New Delhi to strengthen TB elimination efforts. Union Health Minister JP Nadda announced that 58,000 volunteers would support grassroots outreach. Initially covering 55 districts across 11 states, the initiative will promote TB awareness, early diagnosis, treatment adherence and community participation.
