Centre launches new initiatives to strengthen medicine safety

The Centre launched the 7th National Formulary of India, the ADR-PvPI 2.0 app and a new Biovigilance Programme to strengthen medicine and patient safety. The initiatives aim to improve adverse-event reporting for medicines, medical devices and transplant-related products, while expanding digital access to safety information and pharmacovigilance tools.
