The Home Ministry has revoked Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA Chennamaneni Ramesh's Indian citizenship for concealing facts. The government said Ramesh had German citizenship and didn't fulfil the criteria for seeking Indian citizenship in 2009. Ramesh, who had migrated to Germany in 1993, said he returned to India in 2009 and was granted citizenship here in February that year.
