The Centre has sent a high-level multi-disciplinary team to Uttar Pradesh where an Indian Air Force officer tested positive for the Zika virus. The team will work closely with the state health department and assess whether Union Health Ministry's Action Plan for Zika management is being implemented. The process of contact tracing is already underway, health officials said on Sunday.
