The Civil Aviation Ministry on Wednesday said Captain Anil Gill, posted as Director in Directorate of Aerosports, has been suspended with immediate effect, amid an investigation over alleged corruption. A vigilance panel formed by the DGCA conducted a preliminary probe into the allegations. Gill allegedly misused his authority and received three aircraft as bribes from flying schools.
