Chai Bisket raised $5 million in seed funding led by InfoEdge Ventures and General Catalyst to launch Chai Shots, a mobile-first OTT platform for 2-minute regional microdramas. Angel investors, Rana Daggubati, Swiggy’s Sri Harsha Majety and Nandan Reddy, and Alakh Pandey of PhysicsWallah also joined the round. The platform is built by Sharath Chandra, Anurag Reddy, and Krishna Mohan Varma.
