An old interview has surfaced wherein Amar Singh Chamkila’s late friend Swaran Sivia claimed the late singer had confessed to his singing partner Amarjot Kaur about being previously married before eloping together. Swaran had added in the interview that Chamkila’s associate Kesar Tikki suggested him to marry her or else “she’ll get married to someone else and go away”.
