Atletico Madrid defeated Italian giants Juventus 1-0 in the Group A match played at the Estadio Vicente Calderon stadium on Wednesday. The saviour goal came in from Arda Turan 15 minutes before the final whistle. Juventus had almost equalised when Atlético’s captain, Raúl García, almost turned a Stephan Lichtsteiner cross into his own net, but the Spanish champions held-on victory.
