Chandigarh Police rolled out an upgraded version of its e-Beatbook system, marking a shift towards integrated, data-driven policing. The new system aims to offer improved accessibility, accountability and operational efficiency. It also introduced structural and functional changes while trying to overcome the shortcomings of the manual system and its first digital iteration implemented in 2019.
