The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Chandigarh, has directed a city-based salon to pay ₹50,000 as compensation for delivering a deficient and unsatisfactory haircut, allegedly contrary to the client's instructions. The complainant alleged that the salon's negligent and unprofessional approach damaged his granddaughter's long hair.
