Chandigarh's PGIMER has launched an SMS facility to update patients about their laboratory reports. As part of its patient-friendly initiative, the patients would now get an SMS on their registered mobile phone numbers once their lab test reports are ready. They can view and download the PDF file of their report using the hyperlink given in the text SMS.
