Tata Sons outgoing Chairman N Chandrasekaran and Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata separately briefed the government about conflicts within the conglomerate, TOI reported. The briefings took place before Chandrasekaran announced that he would step down in February 2027. The talks involved differences between the two over strategy, governance, new businesses and leadership continuity.
