Chandrayaan-3 moves closer to 100 km lunar orbit, one step away from separation

The ISRO on Monday said that a precise manoeuvre performed today has achieved a near-circular orbit of 150 km x 177 km for the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft. "Orbit circularisation phase commences...The next operation is planned for August 16, 2023, around 0830 hrs IST," the ISRO said. After reaching the 100 km orbit, Chandrayaan-3's landing module will separate from the propulsion module.
