Chat platform Discord raises $100 mn at $7 bn valuation

Chat and communications platform Discord has raised $100 million in its Series H funding round led by Greenoaks Capital. The latest funding has come in at a $7 billion valuation for Discord, TechCrunch reported. Discord was launched in 2015 by Jason Citron and Stanislav Vishnevskiy. Earlier this year, Discord raised $100 million which valued the company at $3.5 billion.
