American celebrity chef Mario Batali has sold his shares in the 16 restaurants operating under the Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group, over a year after being accused of sexual misconduct. The 58-year-old had stepped away from the business after allegations, which include groping and passing inappropriate comments, surfaced against him. Following his exit, the group will adopt a new name.
