Chelsea have won their opening three competitive matches of a season for the first time in 10 years after beating Brighton 4-3 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. They had earlier defeated Fulham 3-2 and Luton Town 2-0. With this, Xabi Alonso has become the first Chelsea manager since Antonio Conte to win his first three competitive matches in charge.
