Chemicals found in US drinking water linked to two cancers

Disinfecting water with chlorine creates chemical byproducts that significantly spike your chances of two deadly cancers, bladder and colon cancer, according to a new study on US drinking water. The research says culprits are trihalomethanes, made of four compounds, chloroform, bromodichloromethane, dibromochloromethane, and bromoform, found in nearly all public water systems in the country.
