Equipment at Delhi government's largest cancer hospital, Delhi State Cancer Institute (DSCI), are lying unused. The patients are sent outside DSCI for medicines, scans and tests, forcing them to pay for the services. A section of the hospital, which was once a day-care chemotherapy unit, now lies in ruins. More than 40% of DSCI's 814 sanctioned posts are reportedly vacant.
