Chennai and several parts of Tamil Nadu are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall over the next few days due to a lower atmospheric circulation over southern Tamil Nadu. The IMD has also forecast thunderstorms and lightning in isolated areas, including Puducherry and Karaikal. Residents have been advised to stay alert as weather conditions may change intermittently.
