A Guwahati-Chennai IndiGo flight was diverted to Bengaluru after it entered Chennai airspace on Thursday due to fuel shortage, TOI reported. The flight's pilot declared 'mayday' about 35 miles away from the Bengaluru airport. The pilot decided to "go around" and land the plane in Bengaluru after reportedly attempting to land in Chennai but failing to get permission for it.
