The Greater Chennai Traffic Police has collected more than ₹1.68 crore pending fine from violators involved in drunk driving cases through a special drive in the last two weeks. The violators had not paid the fine despite several reminders through the e-court system, said a report. A total of 1,628 cases related to drunk driving were cleared in the drive.
