A portion of road near Taylor's road-EVR junction in Chennai caved in on Saturday morning, forming a large crater. Chennai Metro Rail officials have said the accident was not caused by their work as the underground work in the stretch was completed almost two years ago. Earlier, a portion of Chennai's Anna Salai road had caved in on April 9.
