Chennai sees rise in fever, dengue cases

Chennai and its suburbs have recorded over 2,000 fever cases in 10 days, with dengue confirmed in 140 patients. Doctors say viral infections including Influenza A, Rhinovirus and RSV are also circulating. Residents are advised to avoid self-medication, seek timely testing and treatment, and prevent mosquito breeding by eliminating stagnant water.
