Chennai has introduced India's first air-conditioned gig workers' pod in Anna Nagar. The facility offers delivery riders a secure space to rest, hydrate, and recharge during their shifts. The pod is accessible only to registered delivery personnel. The space can seat up to 25 people and includes a washroom, a mobile charging point, a drinking water dispenser, and free Wi-Fi.
