Chess master gets 35 years for raping 14-year-old girl

A 33-year-old chess master, Rameshan, was sentenced to 35 years rigorous imprisonment and fined ₹1.2 lakh for raping a 14-year-old girl. He allegedly lured her with a false marriage promise while hiding his first marriage. The Kunnamkulam POCSO court in Keralam ordered ₹1 lakh from the fine to be paid to the survivor.
