Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park in Chhatbir has put comprehensive winter arrangements in place to protect animals from harsh weather conditions. Carnivores, including tigers, lions and leopards, have been provided room heaters and heat convectors in night shelters, with windows insulated using polythene, fibre sheets and thatch.
