Child actress Reem Sameer Shaikh, who starred in the TV show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', will play Pakistani activist and Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai in the upcoming biopic 'Gul Makai'. The film also stars Divya Dutta, who plays Malala's mother, late actor Om Puri and Ragini Khanna among others. It has been directed by filmmaker Amjad Khan.
