The UNICEF on Monday said the practice of child marriage was still prevalent in a few states like Bihar, West Bengal and Rajasthan. It added that there was nearly 40% prevalence of such practice in these states. A report 'Factsheet Child Marriages 2019' released by the UNICEF stated that in Tamil Nadu and Kerala child marriage prevalence was below 20%.
