Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian on Wednesday said that reports and images about the deaths of civilians in Ukraine's Bucha are "deeply disturbing". Lijian said the truth and specific causes of the incident should be verified, adding that blame shouldn't be apportioned before the "truth" is verified. Reportedly, China has refused to criticise Russia for its actions in Ukraine.
